Our Story

The origins of Winding Road Woodworks can be found at the dinner table.  Not only the experiences shared, discussions that led to starting the company, but for us the table itself.  Built in the 1930's, that table has hosted Christmas dinners, birthday and wedding celebrations and more intense card games that some Las Vegas casinos.


That table has been passed down in our family and served as a link between generations.  Winding Road Woodworks was born out of the same passion that helped to build that table.  Pouring our energy, laughter, and love into every piece we make.


We have been lucky to create many memories in the woodshop over the years.  Our goal at Winding Road Woodworks is to continue making those memories with future generations as we make pieces for you.  Whether it is a table or not, we hope that the piece we make for you will serve as a link to those things that matter most to you.

Transparency

We value honesty and will never surprise you with a cost.  On the front end of any project, we agree on the timeline and scope.


If a project stays in scope, the cost will not change.  If the project scope changes, we will agree on the new cost before moving forward. 



Fun

We take great pride in our work, but don't take ourselves too seriously.  The experience of building custom items should be enjoyable for all involved.

Every item we produce is touched by multiple members of our family.  Whether it is sourcing the materials, helping with design, or the woodworking itself,  the end product is a transfer of passion from our family to yours.

How it works

  • 01 | Send a request

    Reach out via email to let us know how we can help build your perfect piece.

  • 02 | Discuss Your project

    In our conversation, we will discuss the specifics about your project.  SIze, materials, finishing touches; everything you can think of.

  • 03 | Approve budget

    Based upon the discussion, we will agree upon a price given the options you have selected.  While standard price ranges may exist, each piece is unique given the specifics of your project.

  • 04 | Start project

    After an agreement is in place, we get to work!  As we progress, you can expect updates of the progress including photos and social media posts about your project.

  • 05 | Finish on schedule

    As we approach the completion, we will coordinate the delivery details and our team will deliver the final product on time and in person.
